PostSubject: I accept that there are things that most likely I will never know   Sat Sep 22, 2012 12:17 pm

I like to know what I need to know in order to live a good life that I am living right now and I am happy I have found out about Deism. I have found out about Deism from Richard Dawkins while watching a you tube video of him.

Knowledge is a good thing, but I accept that there are things that I might never know. The reason I say might is because some people believe that if you go on with God after this life transforms you became one with the Source.

Personally don't think that's the case but I can't claim to know 100%. I think that panendeists might have that or similar belief.

Peace and Thanks

I believe after death we (in the egoic sense) go back to the state we were in before we were born.

What do you mean by: In the egoic sense? And what knowledge do you believe we will poses?

Thanks

I believe that we survive death in some ways; through the memories of friends and loved ones for example, but I don't believe egoic consciousness survives death... I would love to be proven wrong of course.
