Evening Meditation: Dreamscape I had a very powerful feeling of vibrating energy about the torso and hands. It wasn't uncomfortable, but it made me feel restless, like I needed to move.

Week 7 Measurements:

Weight: 203 Week Net: + 1/2 Start Net: - 2 1/2
Chest: 42 1/2 Week Net: +1" Start Net: 0"
Torso: 41 Week Net: 00 Start Net: 00
Thighs: 24" Week Net: - 1/2 Start Net: - 1/2
Buttocks: 42 Week Net: - 1/2 Start Net: - 1 1/2
Biceps: 15 Week Net: + 1/2 Start Net: + 1/2"

Conclusions: Was a little lax towards the end of the week, felt really tired. Forgot to take my bee pollen which may have been part of it. Body seems to be in a platteau. Meditation is mostly consistant except for last night.

I'm interested, is this something you do with your family or do you go on your own?

Its the first one I attended, my wife would have gone with me, but she wasn't feeling well. I think its a bit beyond most children, though.

Evening Meditation: Dreamscape session and although I don't think I remained conscious through the whole thing, at one point I remember a feeling as though I were being pulled from body. This is probably the closest I have come to an "out-of-body" experience. I didn't "see myself" lying there and I don't recall ever feeling as though I ever left my body, it just felt more like part of me was "silly puddy" and was stretched a bit futher than what the normal bounds of my gross body are. Still, I'm excited about the last couple Dreamscape sessions. The meditation sessions are still the same, however.

Since I'm getting some experiences from the Dreamscape, I thought I would outline what the CD takes you through.

First, there is the breathing exercises designed to help you relieve any tension.

Second, there is the counting backwards from ten punctuated with breathing exercises. It is accompanied by phrases such as "deeper" and "down" which he says in an "aum" like quality and resonance.

Third, is a visualization process of a warm, healing light that starts at the toes and works all the way up through the body.

Fourth is a series of "visualized trips" accompanied by music conjuring a forrest setting at daybreak, an Australian themed trip, and a Middle Eastern or Egyptian trip.

Finally there is the coming out of the trip described as "awakening the sleeper".

I usually doze off in the healing light phase, and regain a little consciousness for some of the trips! I'm trying hard to stay awake through all of it, but I have had some experiences of energy about the torso and hands and now the latest "silly-puddy" experience. So, hopefully this will continue in a positive fashion.

Travis, did you fall off the ILP wagon or did you just stop logging it here?

I did fall off the wagon - hard! I got hit with multiple overtime shifts, one folowing a midnight shift, and I just completely fell apart! Evil or Very Mad

I have two weeks of relatively normal work rotation, my wife's grandomother's 80th b-day party to throw, then a family vacation to Yosemeti and Sequoia National Parks. Kids will be done with school by then, and hopefully I can get back into it!

I just looked at my schedule, and the two week period following vacation I am once again scheduled for two more overtime shifts, including one of the dreaded mid shift - overtime combos. I'll just have to suck it up, and try to adjust my schedule accordingly, don't think the overtimes are going to stop anytime soon!

Sorry to hear that. I know it can be real tough to keep to these kinds of scheduals even if you aren't working all kinds of crazy hours. Hpefully things will settle down for you soon.
