| | Quote: | Chapter 6 The Tao is called the Great Mother: empty yet inexhaustible, it gives birth to infinite worlds.
It is always present within you. You can use it any way you want. |
I really like this passage. Any thoughts? _________________ "Enjoy every sandwich" ~ Warren Zevon |

| | Richard Bach said (in Illusions) "The world is your exercise book, the pages on which you do your sums. It is not reality, although you can express reality there if you wish. You are also free to write nonsense, or lies or to tear the pages". |

| Yes, very interesting take on it.
I view chapter 6 as a comment on possibility. I think that much more is possible in this life than we think. Things like ignorance, attachment, and fear hold us back from experiencing everything that is possible. _________________ "Enjoy every sandwich" ~ Warren Zevon |

| I take this passage to connect two concepts.
1. The aspect of God that is Formless ground can manifest in infinite ways.
2. We are manifestations of the formless ground, (or creations in the image of God)
As manifestations of that Formless ground (or alternately as Sons of God), we still contain within us some element of that infinite potentiality. |
